Systems Reflection
These tools can be especially helpful when reflecting on how the system(s) you are embedded in are operating. They are tools for zooming out and considering the landscape that we are trying to navigate in an effort to better understand the larger impacts of our roles, strategies and approaches.

Systems are complex – we don’t always realize or anticipate the different ways things impact each other. 2 Loops Model A theory of change based upon the ideas of the living system. Useful in complex organizational change supports thinking and action relating to change helps you to place yourself in the system and see what kind of role you are playing, recognize, and connect the past to the future during a change process. Reflection prompts/guiding questions: How does the system move? How is the system operating, what does this mean for my role? 2 loops: Graphic is helpful and an activity instruction included for people to walk through the framework in the reflection folder.
